Morris sides usually have an event called an Ale. This is where the host side invite several other Morris sides to a place where they can all dance in turn, It usually involves much merryment, drinking and singing. As a side, Bishop Gundulf are no different. We arranged an Ale each year which was a great success. However, in 2005, we decided to join forces with the village of Aylesford, near Maidstone, and gave birth to what is now The Aylesford Village Festival.(Click here to go to the Festival website for this year)
